Four 65-year-old houses on the Lianhua Mountain

Recently, Li jianjun, 66 years old man, found the reporter and insisted on taking him to the Lianhua Mountain to see the four old houses.

Start from Xiahao Road, Shangxin Street by car, and driving along Qingshui Stream Fitness Park, they saw many old residential buildings among the all-way green. “How can these houses match our four houses? They lost in appearance.” Mr. Li gives reporter the suspense.

They arrived Lianhua Mountain soon. Walking along the narrow path on the hillside, four buildings built against the mountain come into their sight. The large red tiles, beige inside walls and plaster outside walls line in staggered layers. In the arms of the continuous green mountains, they look rather attractive, and trendy.

As if they were wandering in old Chongqing when looking up at these old houses.

Wooden floor, staircase, and wall

The house was very comfortable to live in and others envied it. But the walls have peeled off now. In addition to the floor, the staircases and walls are made of wood. The wooden staircase at the corner is three meters wide, which looks very stable and splendid. When these residents were kids, they loved to play here and slided from the third floor to the ground floor. They had fun here.

“In spite of its old age, the building is still strong and stable. It even survived the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008.” One resident says.

The gardener near the main urban areas

As time flies, some residents moved while some settled down here. The houses are surrounded by a large area of undeveloped open space where the left people dug up a pool and cultivate some vegetables in the open area, such as swamp cabbage and bean and corn. Residents here can enjoy fresh vegetables like rural people, and they are like gardener near the main urban areas. (Translated by Song Zhipeng, Fathom Language Limited)
