Opening ceremony of Chongqing University Branch of 2018 Youth University Science Camp

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The opening ceremony of Chongqing University Branch of 2018 Youth University Science Camp was held, attracted 270 students from various places like Guangzhou, Gansu, Hubei, Henan, Sichuan and Chongqing. Those students will feel the charm of science and technology, arouse the interest of science, and develop the scientific spirit and practical ability during the 7-day scientific experience activities in Chongqing including touring university campus, going to lectures of famous teachers, visiting laboratories, joining science and technology projects, and taking the hands-on activities of science and technology.

Activities in this Science Camp are held both inside and outside the university, fully showing the characteristics of the university and the elements of science and technology. The activities in the university include: science lectures and exchanges of famous teachers in order to let students know the development of the frontier science and technology, the story of the famous teachers, as well as the spirit and charm of science; visit laboratories and innovation practice bases in the university which reflect the development of the frontier science and technology; scientific and cultural exchanges with college students or student associations; accommodation, dining and visiting at the university in order to experience the college life and feel the unique college culture and spirit.
