CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Acrobatic drama Hua Mulan in which the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe put tremendous efforts is to debut at Chongqing International Circus City on August 25th.

The plot of the drama is based on the folklore in Chinese culture and the ancient poem Ode of Mulan. However, it frees itself from restraints of historical facts, character relationships and plot progression, and incorporates acrobatics with featured traditional Chinese art forms such as dance, magic, Bian lian (literally: "Face-Changing”, an ancient Chinese dramatic art) and Chinese Kungfu, rejuvenating the ancient art of acrobatics for a new kind of artistic attractiveness and color.
