“Chinese coins have unique cultural characteristics respectively in different regions,” the director of the Beijing Ancient Coin Exhibition Hall said. This exhibition added the Chongqing coin” part in particular. Cooperating with Chongqing folk coin collectors who offer exhibits is a good attempt by the organizers.

There are 619 coins (sets) in this exhibition with many precious coins. For example, the Sichuan rupee with a profile of the Guangxu emperor in the front side of the coin is the only coin with the head of the emperor in Chinese currency history. In addition, there is the Yidaopingwuqian（一刀平五千）, a rare key-shaped coin in Chinese currency.
