CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- To prepare for the Smart China Expo, new tourist attractions are added in Yuzhong District. The mysterious Liziba Viewing Platform was open for a trial service. This gives a new experience for visitors who come here to see “railways through buildings” as the platform is spacious and comfortable.

A 1,500-square-meter platform

Endless tourists take photos at the debut of the platform

The platform covers an area of 1,500 square meters, of which 840 square meters are allocated for people to take photos. Other functional areas are allocated for tourist getting off from buses, a shooting square platform, a glass bridge viewing area and pedestrian walks.

The "golden triangle" composition is a form of composition used in photography. The project was surveyed at the time of design and based on the principle of "golden triangle" photographic composition. Then the best shooting location was found - the shooting position and the track entrance forms a 33 ° angle.

A person in charge of the construction of the Liziba Viewing Platform said that at present, the trial opening area was still undergoing renovation and commissioning by construction team, and the platform enclosure was being built day and night. The entire platform is expected to be completed by the end of August. At the same time, supporting facilities such as management office and public toilets below the platform are being actively built.

A person in charge of the Yuzhong District City Urban Administrative and Law Enforcement Bureau said that the night lighting has been upgraded. Qikong Bridge, Jiaochangkou and Shenglipo landscape lighting improvement project have started, bringing a better night scene to the global tourists.

"Qikong Bridge" is like the dusty memory of old Chongqing. It is in the mountain wall between Lianglukou and Eling in Yuzhong District as well as an important passageway for Yuzhong Peninsula. It faces the Yangtze River in the south, the cliffs in the north, and goes east to west. The total length is about 200 meters. A viaduct formed by multiple arches, it is commonly known as " Qikong Bridge."
