CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It is a fantastic occasion for several dozens of twins to visit the "twin village". Recently, 33 pairs of twins who come from all over the country gathered in Qingyan Village, Siping Town, Jiangjin District to participate this year’s “Twin Summer Camp” and to enjoy the unique traditional cultures of the twin village. As a renowned twin village, Qingyan Village in Siping Town received extensive attention again.

Qingyan Village is known as the “Chongqing First Twin Village” and has received extensive media attention. Qingyan Village is located in the Simian Mountain Tourist Resort, with an altitude of about 1,100 meters. The forest coverage rate is as high as 95.41%. There are 39 pairs of twins in the village's 367 villagers, including 7 pairs of male-female twins. The birth rate of twins is as high as 10.6%, much higher than the world average of 1:89. In recent years, Siping Town has relied on this resource, combined with the advantages of the local ecological environment, to attract a large number of twin families to participate in parent-child tourism activities.

A few days ago, the 2018 Chongqing (Simian Mountain) Twin Summer Camp officially opened in Qingyan Village, which highlighted the current Twin Culture Festival. In two days, accompanied by their parents, 33 pairs of twins visited several famous attractions and carried out farming experience, parent-child interaction and experience building games. The activities allowed the twins to experience the excellent ecological resources, explore the mystery of the local twins, cultivate the love of nature, enhance the feelings of family members as well as to experience the folk culture of twin villagers.
