2018-09-05 11:41:23

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It is a good time for a trip in fine autumn weather when the breeze blows softly. Today, we will recommend one-day trips and two-day trips to everyone. Let's take a look!

One-day trips:

Tieshanping Forest Park

Strongly recommend by hiking enthusiasts, Tieshanping is a 4A level scenic spot with free admission and can be toured round-trip in a day with a few visitors. However, it is hardly enough to watch all the sights in one day. You can choose from 2 routes recommended by us.

East route: suitable for taking pictures of the Yangtze River at Tongluo Canyon. The pedestrian footpath at the Tongluo Canyon is 6 kilometers, and it can be accessed at Hutou Rock, Tongluo Canyon Xishan Gate and Tongluo Canyon Hot Spring. The scenery along the way is mainly cultural landscape. There are River Lock Ruins, Gong of the Secluded Canyon and so on. It is the best photography location in the suburbs of the Yangtze River, and you can also enjoy the different levels of scenery between the river and the canyon!

West route: for enjoying farmer’s food which are not mass produced. Dense pine and bamboo groves grows in refreshing air along the 5-kilometer road from Sandie Spring along Cuiwei Road to Yufeng Mountain. There are a lot of leisure villas and farmhouses along the route, and their hosts mostly make the dishes with food from their own fields, as a result the food is very fresh.

The way to Tieshanping:

East route: take Bus 817 (Jianxin East Road - Wangjiang) at Jianxin East Road Station or Wulidian Station in Jiangbei, and off at Tongluoxia Station.

West route: take Bus 813 (Jianxin East Road - Xinping) at Jianxin East Road Station or Wulidian Station in Jiangbei, and off along Cuiwei Road at Tieshanping Ecological Area.

Beibei Jinyun Mountain

As a renowned mountain resort in Chongqing, Jinyun Mountain has a 1,000 altitude and gorgeous sceneries and refreshing air. Numerous attractions such as Xianglu Peak, Daihu Lake, Baiyun Temple and Jinyun Temple are worth visiting.

All of Beibei’s old and new areas could be seen at Xianglu Peak, the summit of Jinyun Mountain. Daihu Lake is quiet and endowed with stunning scenery and Shizi Peak is especially classic. If you are tired from all the trudging, many farmhouses can accommodate you.

The way to Jinyun Mountain: Take Line 6 and off at Beibei Station, then take a direct bus to Jinyun Mountain

Two-day trips

Simian Mountain in Jiangjin

Since the opening of the Jiangjin-Xishui Expressway, the time from

Chongqing main urban areas to Simian Mountain has been greatly reduced, which only takes about 1.5 hours to enjoy forests and rivers at Simian Mountain. How do you prove that you have been to Simian Mountains? Of course, it is taking a photo in front of the heart-shaped waterfall in Wangxiangtai, which is known as the "Heart of the Earth". The famous mountain of love deserve its name. Next, go rowing and archery at Honghai Lake and go boating at Longtan Lake, and tread water at Zhenzhu Lake.

Self-driving: G75 – G85 – G93 – Jiangjin-Xishui Expressway – Huaping Road – Chibi Road – Simian Mountain National Scenic Spots, with a total of 141 kilometers (75 yuan)

Mazhaying in Kaizhou

At Mazhaying, there are a series of alpine meadows, which are natural grasslands. Here wild horses, cattle and sheep are in groups, and pastoral songs are wild and interesting. Bringing tents, hammocks and other outdoor gear, you can go with friends, family members and have a picnic or barbecue here. Taking a nap in the grove is also very comfortable. In addition, there are thousands of square meters of garden cosmos at Mazhaying, which are distributed on the right side of the entrance gate of the scenic spot. Flowering period starts in early September and will last until the end of October. Nurtured by the sun and rain, the lovely garden cosmos sea is yellow and pink.

The way to Mazhaying: Chongqing Yangjiaping Bus Station – Jiangjin (21 yuan) – Simian Mountain (24 yuan)
