CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the "Gecko King Cup" rock climbing competition of the 8th Chongqing National Fitness Games was held in Chongqing Huayan Gecko King National Rock Climbing Park. The competition attracted more than 90 rock climbers from representative teams of various districts and counties in Chongqing to participate.

This competition was divided into men and women groups and has three events: random speed race, difficulty race, and rock climbing race. The final rankings are determined by an overall score, which is the product by multiplying the three scores of speed, difficulty and climbing.

As a top climbing competition in Chongqing, the "Gecko King Cup" is a gathering of masters. Han Jie, Tan Sitong and Huang Xuechuan, all famous climbers in the Chongqing climbing circle, participated in the match. In the men's random speed race, Han Jie was far ahead of other competitors with a score of 10’60”; Tan Sitong became the only athlete who completed the men's difficulty race; 57-year-old Huang Xuechuan struggled hard in the game and tried every route.
