"Reef stonefish" is known as " Synanceia verrucosa", which is a highly toxic marine life. Its shape is rugged and ugly, and its color is close to that of the seabed reef and thus it is called "reef stonefish" or “Tigerfish”. They lurk between the reefs waiting for the prey to emerge. When the prey is close, they will attack quickly. Reef stonefish can't be artificially propagated and as a result all reef stonefish are wild. The stingers on their backs can easily penetrate enemy's skin to release venom when threatened.

And "stone crab" is known as " Daldorfia horrida" and is distributed in Hainan, Southeast Asia, Hawaii and other places. People in some areas use such crabs for food, but in fact they are moderately toxic marine life. There is a risk of poisoning if handled in a wrong way. Stone crabs are omnivorous, but they enjoy small fish and shrimps as well as snails and other small crabs in the ocean. They live at the bottom of the rock between the intertidal zone to 125 meters deep sea, a seabed with sand or shells or shallow water in a coral reef.

A person in charge of Chongqing Andover Ocean Park said that during the holidays, "reef stonefish" and “stone crabs” will be on display at the Seabed Area of the Ocean Hall.

In addition to watching "reef stonefish" and "stone crabs", from September 22 to 24, Chongqing Andover Ocean Park will also prepare a performance of "Chang’e flying to the moon in deep sea", A Chinese diver plays the husband Hou Yi and a Russian underwater Ballet dancer plays Chang’e, performing underwater sitcoms in a pool, which brings a beautiful underwater love story to visitors.
