Osmanthus flowers bloom in autumn!

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, and the Osmanthus flowers all over the city bloom in a short time with scented smell. Osmanthus flowers, like a plain and gentle woman, have leaped the gap of the time and dressed the season. Do you know where you can enjoy Osmanthus flowers in the main urban areas?

Jiangbeizui Central Park

Jiangbeizui Central Park has the largest number and the highest concentration of Osmanthus trees in the main urban areas. Osmanthus trees are planted on both sides of the road and at the square. There are 48 Osmanthus trees in Guihua Street, and there may be about over 80 Osmanthus trees if adding the amount in the square of Central Park.

Yangjiaping CBD

Osmanthus trees in Yangjiaping Central Business District (CBD) have their own feature with the passing light rail trains. There were a few people in a rainy day on Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street, and cleaners and pedestrians who pass by sometimes may stop under the Osmanthus trees. 

Chongqing Zoo

Entering the zoo, you can first smell the fragrance although you don’t see the flowers. There are Osmanthus trees on the both sides of the atrium. Tourists still visited the zoo in a rainy day. Among them, a German tour group has a good mood to play here. "When foreign tourists entered the zoo, they smelt a fragrance. And I told them that it was the fragrance of Osmanthus which only blooms in autumn.” The tour guide said tourists thought the fragrance of Osmanthus was with sweet smell and it made they feel comfortable. 

There are many other places to enjoy the Osmanthus in the main urban areas, such as Flower Garden, Eling Park, Longzhouwan Binjiang Road, Dadukou Park, Beibin Road, Chongqing Garden Expo, Osmanthus Garden of Southwest University, Nanshan Botanical Park.
