Changshou Cable Car
Changshou Cable Car was built by Mao Yisheng, a famous bridge engineer in 1964, running for 52 years, with a length of 282 meters and a vertical height of 110 meters, which is the longest, steepest and oldest cable car in China. As a transportation of Changshou people, it bears the sweet memories from generation to generation. The classic fish-bellied cross tracks connect Wangjiang Road in urban area with Hejie Street. Sandaoguai Old Street
Sandaoguai Old Street was a flagging built in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which was the only passage from Hejie Street to urban area during the two years in which the cable car was out of service. The name “Sandaoguai” came from that more than 3000 stone steps had three sharp turns. The grey-green roof tile houses show the history of Changshou for several hundred years.
