SISU student “puts” Chongqing’s universities into postcards

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- What will happen when putting hotpots, colleges and universities, and postcards together? Recently, a set of postcards of a hand-held mini hot pot model taken at Chongqing colleges and universities, has become popular on the Internet which is made by Yang Yudi, a senior student majoring in Japanese at Sichuan International Studies University (SISU). So far over 1,000 sets have been sold.

As a gift for her graduation

The 22-year-old Yang Yudi, a senior student majoring in Japanese at SISU, who loves photography and takes photos to record Chongqing usually. She decided to shoot a set of postcards as a graduation gift for her beloved SISU in the second half of last year. She had many tries to add some unique marks on the postcards. Finally, she used a mini hotpot as a little landmark to take photos. She found that taking photos with a mini hotpot was like traveling, so she got the idea to take photos at other colleges, universities and landmarks in Chongqing. Gradually, she brought a mini hotpot to take photos at Chongqing University, Chongqing Normal University, Southwest University of Political Science & Law and other colleges and universities. She was satisfied with this series and went on shooting to make first snow postcards and recalling old Chongqing postcards.
