CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Operated by Urumqi Air, an air route linking Chongqing and Bo’ao will be open on October 28, to facilitate the travel needs and to meet the demands of tourist in winter and spring.

The Chongqing - Bo’ao air route uses the Boeing 737-800 passenger plane and there is one flight each day. Departing flight number in Bo’ao is UQ3597 and in Chongqing is UQ3598. 

In terms of specific time, the flight leaves Bo’ao at 19:40 every Tuesday to Sunday and arrives at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 22:05; it leaves Jiangbei Airport at 23:05 and arrives at Bo’ao Airport at 1:35. And it leaves Bo’ao Airport at 18:25 on Monday and arrives at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport at 20:50; and leaves Jiangbei Airport at 22:05 and arrives at Boao Airport at 0:35.

According to Urumqi Air, the plane ticket is heavily discounted as the flight is introduced for the first time at 50 yuan (VAT excluded) from Bo’ao to Chongqing and 500 yuan (VAT excluded) from Chongqing to Bo’ao. Passengers in need may make a purchase via the Urumqi Air website, its official Wechat account or consulting the various plane ticket agents.

Bo’ao Airport is one of the three airports in Hainan Province. Tourists from Chongqing used to choose Haikou or Sanya as their destination when traveling to Hainan, now they have another choice when the Chongqing – Bo’ao flight opens. Chongqing people may go straight to Qionghai, at the same time, they may also head to Wenchang, Wanning or Lingshui by the high-speed train circulating the island from Bo’ao, which is more convenient from Haikou or Sanya.
