Zhaishanping Xianyutong

Remember Xianyutong that is all the thing this summer? The borderless pool there has attracted many people, and to the surprise of many, a large pink grass sea – a sea of hairawn muhly is also available here. Right now, the adorable hairawn muhly is blooming in full. Different from that in many other areas, the hairawn muhly in Zhaishanping are protected by specially-built viewing passages, so you don’t have to worry about damaging those little plants.

Jiufeng Yaochi

It is half an hour’s driving from Zhaishanping to Jiufeng Yaochi, the “Lesser Jiuzhaigou” in Chongqing. Though not to be compared with Jiuzhaigou, Jiufeng Yaochi wins for its vicinity to the city center, and a serenity that is unique to you. When it’s in autumn, although the maple leaves are not thoroughly red, they scattered around like shining stars, which is also a pleasure to the eye.

Other places worth visiting

Cultural sites and relics are rich around Jiufeng Yaochi, too. Notables ones include Huilongwan Moya Sculpture, site of Zhaizipo Walls, Wangjiagou Hongqi Aqueduct, Fujiapo Qing Dynasty Tombs, etc. On the way a hot spring bath is also available, as well as roast lambs and hospitality services.
