Recently, on the opening ceremony of the sports meeting in Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, performances taken by students and teachers from different colleges are various as if you are watching the activity held by art college. Among them, the large-sized dance Dancing with Embroidered Cloth presented by 81 “embroideresses” from the Finance & Trade combines the traditional embroidery and the modern dance. It's very impressive. 

Holding embroidered clothes, the 81 students in ancient costumes are dancing on site. The students and teachers on the stand put their most attention on the leading embroideress who sometimes flips or jumps. They open the big stroll written down “Ren (仁), Yi (义), Li (礼), Xin (信) and He (和)” in Chinese to reflect the essence of Chinese traditional culture while dancing.

“Blending in the essence of traditional culture is the best merit of the dance. With the modern method, it aims to arouse the resonance of teachers and students for the traditional culture by dancing.” President Tang Xiaoyan said the culture of traditional embroidery is lost increasingly, so to inherit and carry forward the good culture and enhance the cultural confidence of college students, a way that blending the embroidery culture in the modern dance is noticed by her.

According to Tang Xiaoyan, the concept of introducing traditional culture into campus is carried all the time since 2014.
