It looks perfect with Mountain Bamboo Forest, Shennv Lake Park and Changzhou Ancient Town, which makes it a new attraction of Yongchuan.

More than 500 pieces of cultural relics and fossils including natural relics and cultural and historical relics have been exhibited this time, covering an exhibition area of 9,000 square meters. The second highlight of the museum is the natural relics mainly about dinosaurs. The nature hall on the first floor is divided into five sections to reproduce the evolution history of ancient geological environment and ancient ecological relationships in Yongchuan.

The Yangchuanosaurus magus, Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis and Baofeng Dinosaur fossils excavated in Yongchuan are the most attractive. The Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis, named by the UNESCO and WHO, is the first carnivorous dinosaur discovered in the world and also one of the most complete giant carnivorous dinosaurs in Asia.

The fossil of Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis is collected in Chongqing Natural History Museum. The fossil of Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis in Yongchuan Museum is a replica, while the Baofeng Dinosaur fossil is original.
