CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Second National Youth Games will be held at Shanxi in August 2019. In order to build a Chongqing youth equestrian team for the Second National Youth Games, the opening ceremony for recruiting a Chongqing youth equestrian team has been held at Chongqing Yufeng Equestrian Club in 2018. All youth equestrians can participate in as the participating player or reserve players of the first Chongqing youth equestrian team.

With the co-work of Administration of Sport of Chongqing and the government of Yubei District, the Chongqing equestrian team was prepared in 2017 and signed the joint agreement in April this year. It is officially set in the Chongqing Yufeng Equestrian Club, which fills in the gap in the field of equestrian competitive sport in Chongqing. At present, there are 4 professional equestrians in the team: Hong Yu, Cai Qiao, He Hongyan and Li Bing. Zhang Lijun is handling the procedures for joining the team. They are the renowned equestrian players in our country.

In May this year, Chongqing equestrian team has debuted in the 2018 “Penglai Hesheng Cup” National Dressage Championship. They have overcome the pressure and won the fifth place in the team competition only with over 10-day training. For ranking 7th for individual in the team competition, Cai Qiao was qualified for recruiting the final.

Preparing for the Second National Youth Games held at Shanxi in August 2019, the work is officially launched for recruiting youth player from the whole Chongqing. Youth who are 6-19 years and have own participating horse or horses ridden fixedly can sign for training may become participating player of Chongqing youth equestrian team by selecting with the requirements of Notice on Selecting Players of Chongqing Equestrian Team for the Second National Youth Games.

The related person in charge of Chongqing Yufeng Equestrian Club said that after the recruiting, the reserve players are to have a training for 50cm, 80cm and 105cm show jumping, the galop 3, and the dressage of above the level 1, 2, and 3 of middle class in the venue to prepare fully for the Games.
