According to Administration of Sports of Chongqing, the 2018 Chongqing 1st Ice & Snow Sport Season will be held from December, 2018 to January 2019, including various snow events and activities. And it's also accessible to the public who can’t play it at all.

There are some activities accessible to the public, such as the 2018 Chongqing Fengdu Nantian Lake Ice and Snow Marathon held at Fengdu Nantianhu Siji Ski Resort from December 22 to 23, 2018, the 2018 public service skiing of "China Sports Lottery” held at Jihua Park, Liangjiang New Area on December 24, and the Fengjie 1st Ice and Snow Interesting Games held at Fengjie County from December 26 to 30.

With the ice and snow sports development strategy of the General Administration of Sports of China as well as the full preparation for the 2020 National Winter Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Administration of Sports of Chongqing has paid great attention to the development of ice and snow sports. The Chongqing Social Sports Guidance Center set up an Ice and Snow Department in this March to promote the development of ice and snow sports, standardize the management of ice and snow industry and prepare for the ice and snow sports of National Winter Games.
