CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the excellent original drama "Chongqing Home Letter" has been invited to show in the 2018 Excellent Original Campus Drama Exhibition and the 6th China Campus Drama Festival in Beijing. It is a work created for more than 4 years by the Chongqing University and the only participating drama from Chongqing's colleges and universities.

The China Campus Drama Festival is a national campus art festival founded by the China Federation of literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and the China Theatre Association. It aims to promote the development of campus culture and strengthen the quality education for students. There are over 10 universities such as Fudan University, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, and Yunnan Arts University to perform their dramas in this festival.

The “Chongqing Home Letter” was created for over 4 years from 2013. It tells the story that after the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War in 1937, the National Government moved westward to Chongqing. The family of Ren Shaozeng, a rice trader, were affected by the war, so Shao just got the hope for peace from the home letters of his children. Deep-righteous Ren Shaozeng, patriotic Ren Qiyan and Eiko Ikeda who is the role from Japanese anti-war woman Verda Majo as prototype… Every role in the drama was performed vividly.
