“Black Wolf” won the first prize for the Chongqing team in the blood search event of the National Police Dog Skills Competition held several days ago. In the blood search event, police dogs are released to locate 2 spots, each with 0.035 ml of fresh human blood dropped, on their own, in a stairwell of a building. “Black Wolf” has been in months of intense training before the competition. To keep his sensitivity of human blood, participating policemen used their own blood to train him by turns. And to accustom him to northern climate, they arrived in Beijing a week before the match started.
“Police dogs aged 7 are close to retirement, so they have no chance to attend the competition next year,” Fu Yi said that the result is the best recognition to “Black Wolf” for his professional years.
