CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2018 Yuelai Eco-run is to start at 9:30 on December 8. Nothing is more pleasurable than running on an avenue along the river in the warm winter sunshine. The medal, awarded to anyone who finishes the race, is also revealed recently.

The precious medal for people who finish the race, longed for by many of the runners, is revealed officially.

This year the event committee invited a professional team to design the medal, which is the most gorgeous one compared with that of the past events. The medal is mainly a depiction of two runners, a man and a woman, sprinting towards their finishing line. Ribbons in the design is a metaphor for the runner’s swinging cape or hair, bringing a sense of dynamism and vigor. And in terms of its color, the medal, painted golden, is a highlight of the eco-run event.

According to head of the event committee, every medal is an epitome of the feature and culture of the event, and through the creative work of the designers, they hope that the participants are able to recall the unique race whenever they hold the exquisite medal in their hands.

The revealed at the same time is the clothing used by the runners, judges and volunteers. The clothing for the runner has the event’s logo printed in white, with colorful graphics of runners in gorgeous surroundings on the bottom, which is really attractive. The clothing used by judges is in dark blue, which looks steady and fair; while the clothing for volunteers is in pink, which looks cheerful.

The event committee also said that the theme for the race this year is “the more running, the better future”, which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among all people and to encourage people to enjoy life when off from work, and to improve their physical strength so that they can have a better future.
