CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- People sing the joyful songs and dance the passionate dances... Recently, Chongqing Centralized Performance of the 2018 National Square Dance Performance Event (hereinafter referred to as “Centralized Performance”) was held in Nan’an District, with 24 outstanding square dance performance teams gathering.

This event lasts for 5 months, attracting 1,616 square dance teams to take part in the grassroots mass-elections. After that, 618 teams participated in the selection at the level of district and county. And then 106 teams out of the selection participated in the regional joint performance. The total number of audience exceeded 650,000. The final 24 teams stood out from a series of selections.

Though the temperature was low, more than 800 dancers maintained high enthusiasm. According to the reporter, people of the 24 teams consisting of dancers of different ages, from teenagers to the elderly over 70 years old, are full of enthusiasm.
