Maocaoba in Fengjie

The first snow fell in Fengjie at Beginning of Winter this year, which made the land covered by snow at once and showed the scenery of the North. Maocaoba ski resort is located in Xinglong Town, Fengjie County with an area of 50,000 square meters, three ski paths and one snow circle, so it can hold more than 1,000 people to ski, play and enjoy the ski view at the same time. It is to open on December 26 this year.

Fairy Mountain in Wulong

Fairy Mountain is popular all the year round, and there is another beautiful sight in winter. As Chongqing drops in temperature for continuous days, snowfall comes on Fairy Mountain whose average altitude of 2,033 meters. Although the ground has not yet covered over with snow, just with rime, it is still beautiful and attractive. The colorful houses near the Tourist Center are particularly eye-catching in the vast white landscape, creating a picture like a fairy tale world.

Mowei Mountain in Pengshui

The Mowei Mountain Scenic Area in Pengshui County has emerged rime with white scenery, although there is no heavy snow. It has rich nature resources, including Karst cave, stone forests, famous medicine, delicacies, precious vines, ancient trees.

It also is a white ice-and-snow kingdom in winter with a ski resort of more than 20 acres. It's fantastic to live in a forest cabin and ski with the beautiful scenery.

Huang’anba in Chengkou

Witnessing the first snow of Chongqing this winter, Chengkou Huang'anba is the largest alpine grassland in South China, and 70 kilometers away from Chengkou County, which is a high-altitude scenic area. We can not only enjoy the snow here, but also the Shifenghuang, Tian’e Pool, Yuanyang Lake, and Xiannv Cave. After the snow, forest and grassland on Huang'anba are wrapped by snow, forming an image like a wonderful ink painting.
