Recently, David bronze statue with 5.5m height and 1.2 tons copied by a 100-year-old Italian family enterprise who engages in traditional sculpture restoration based on the original model has been formally located at the east gate of Huxi Campus of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

Following a word "lifting", the worker used a large crane to place the bronze statue "David" which is exactly like the statue "David" in the center of Piazza Michelangelo, Florence and with the firm look, strong body and full muscles on the east gate of Huxi Campus of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. 

However, different from the original, this statue is green all over, so some netizens have joked: the public says I am a "Bronze", but I am actually a "Challenger". This is caused by the duplication.

Located in the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, this statue is copied by a 100-year-old Italian family enterprise who engages in traditional sculpture restoration based on the 1910 original model which was used to duplicate the David in the center of Piazza Michelangelo, Florence.

The person in charge of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute said that successfully placing the statue has an important role in improving students' artistic creation.
