Unlike other museums, it, belonging to the "Bayu Nostalgia" project, is located between rural area with two floors. 

Looking at the scene, the bamboos are arranged in the museum and a carved square table with typical Bayu style is seated in the atrium with four bamboo chairs. There is coir raincoat, bamboo hat, stone mill, dustpan, spinning wheel, rake and other farm tools in the exhibition area. Related person in charge introduced that the museum is composed of four major areas: Memory of Childhood, Rural Classroom, Planning Display Hall of Bayu Nostalgia Project, and Exhibition Area of Cultural and Agricultural Creation.

The exhibition of Memory of Childhood is to show scenes like housing construction, field work, and harvest in Bayu areas. It reflects, for example, the living and cultivation scenes in Bayu area: ramming earthwork of building rural houses, the open-air teahouses in the old street, the construction of stilted buildings, and rice seedlings planting. Exhibition Area of Cultural and Agricultural Creation is to show more than 50 kinds of agricultural products are gathered from over 30 townships and towns in Chongqing, and to introduce the cultural and agricultural creative products with regional characteristics.

The "Bayu Nostalgia" project consists of north and south parts, covering an area of about 3,000 mu. Among them, the "Happy Field" in the south plans to build a comprehensive memory zone mainly with original township, old streets, market and handmade works of intangible cultural heritage so as to demonstrate the Chongqing flavor, memories and feelings; the "Happy Village" in the north will keep a complete rural life and production system, and mix into the essential of modern cultural and tourism industry and products, in an attempt to create a beautiful countryside that integrates rural aesthetics, pastoral residences, research and study.

The museum is included in the north of project, and the project exhibition center is also open this time. The person in charge said that the north part will serve for the public on May 1 next year, and the south is to open at the end of 2020.
