The public not only watches the wonderful performances from professional athletes, such as fancy skiing with two boards, snowboarding, cross-dressing skiing, but also enjoys the joy of winter sports in person via the dressing of ski equipment and the technical guidance of professional skiing coaches on the spot. This is the first winter sports season held in Chongqing. There are 6 indoor skating rinks and 10 skiing venues in Chongqing so far. According to the introduce of relevant person in charge, the place where is with altitude of above 1,800 meters can just be used to build a more professional ski resort. Taking Nantian Lake Ski Resort as an example, with 14 snowmakers, it can open for about two and a half months. “Many people in Chongqing can ski, who may have skied outside or oversea before, and for existing ski and skating resorts in Chongqing, they are full of passion”.

About 8,000 people in Chongqing can play winter sports, and there are about 300 young people practicing ice hockey and fancy skating for a long time.
