CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The press conference of special exhibition "Mona Lisa's Smile and Three Renaissance Masters - Collection of the Bellini Family” has been held recently, and declared that the exhibition would be displayed in Chongqing Art Museum from April 26 to August 8, 2019. At that time, 161 Renaissance art treasures, collected by the Bellini family from Italy over 600 years, will be displayed, and the visitors will enjoy the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael not far from home.

Collectively organized by Shanghai Himalayas Museum, Bellini Museum and Beijing Sanmeng International Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. it will be undertaken by Chongqing Branch of Xinhuanet.

Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael are honored as the three art masters of the Renaissance. There are many masterpieces can been seen in the exhibition such as sketches of Da Vinci, his follower’s works “Mona Lisa's Smile” and "Santa Ana”, Michelangelo's sculptures "Crucifix” and Raphael's oil paintings "Madonna del Granduca" and “John the Baptist”.

The Mona Lisa's Smile is one of the highlights of this special exhibition, which was copied by the anonymous follower of Leonardo Da Vinci in the 16th century. Compared with Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, it is slightly different in size, but you can still feel the brilliant humanism of Italian Renaissance like other paintings.

Used AR, VR and other technical means to restore the scene and present the art works alternately, and this exhibition will show the scene of Florence during the Italian Renaissance, so that the audience can enter the Renaissance world. (Translated by Jiang Yuling, Fathom Language Limited)
