Youyang: old trees on Feilai Peak
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- During 2019 New Year’s holiday, heavy snow covered most areas of Youyang, forming a white scene. On Feilai Peak, opposite to Bijin Square in Youyang County, orange fruits hanged on old diospyros armata can be seen, which looked great against the white snow.

The 500-year-old Feilai Peak, built during the reign of Emperor Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, is one of the oldest and best preserved historical sites in Youyang. It has been listed in Chongqing Cultural Relics Protected Buildings in 2009. This Tujia ancient garden is known as a living fossil in architectural history. These old trees next to Feilai Peak are also hundreds of years old.
