CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 14th “Great Banquet” Folk Festival of Zhongshan Ancient Town will be held at Zhongshan Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing on January 26, 2019.

Zhongshan Ancient Town, together with Giza Scenic Area in Egypt, will hold a banquet themed as “Feelings of Silk Road, Egypt Culture at Zhongshan Town” to present a cultural feast integrating culture, tourism, entertainment and foods between China and Egypt for tourists.

According to the host, this “Great Banquet” will last for 2 days. Besides experiencing “eating food along the street with a pair of chopsticks”, “paying New Year calls with folk customs” and others, there are also many events like a friendly covenant to be made between Zhongshan Ancient Town and Giza Scenic Area, original artistic performance and photography works exhibition.

As the partner, Giza Scenic Area is the most famous area of pyramids in Egypt. During the festival, relics like Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx, performances like Egyptian belly dance will be showed in the town, in which tourists can experience exotic customs without going abroad. At the same time, Zhongshan culture will be displayed at Giza Scenic Area in Egypt.

1.With the completion of Simian Mountain Expressway, tourists can transfer to Simian Mountain Expressway from Diaojia Interchange of Chongqing Jiangjin - Sichuan Luzhou Expressway directly and leave from Zhongshan Exit. There are traffic commanders along the road, and tourists should strictly follow the traffic instructions.

2.Self-drive tourists should follow the instructions of polices on duty after arriving at the entrance of Simian Mountain Tourists Distribution Center.
