CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- This is the first Spring Festival for revised “Administrative Regulations on Setting off Fireworks and Firecrackers in Chongqing” (hereinafter referred to as “Regulations”), in which “limitation” is changed into “prohibition”. Recently, centralized publicity activities on setting off fireworks and firecrackers safely were launched in main districts, to greet the happy, safe and peaceful civilized year through publicizing relevant regulations against fireworks and firecrackers in various forms.

At Three Gorges Square, related workers packed the poster, picture album and Spring Festival couplets together, put them into the gift packs and exhorted citizens to be careful.

Animation used to promote publicity in Jiangbei District 

Yuzhong District is included in the control area of prohibition against fireworks for more old communities and the highest population density. To make the residents know the hidden dangers of setting off fireworks, Fire Management Office and community staff put up notices of prohibition against fireworks and distributed over 10,000 relevant materials to guide citizens to improve safety awareness to celebrate a civilized Spring Festival.

At the entrance of IMIX Park at Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street in Jiangbei District and by Glass Tower of Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street in Jiulongpo District, the regulations were publicized through playing animation, distributing leaflets and other methods.
