CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “I am from Chongqing. I feel proud of that because Chongqing is becoming more and more fascinating,” said Zhang Yibai at the the fan meeting themed on “Chongqing Shot by Zhang Yibai” recently held in Eling Testbed 2, Yuzhong District. Director Zhang Yibai, who was born in Chongqing, told the story behind “Chongqing trilogy”. At the meeting, he recalled his youthful days and talked about the progress of shooting a new film. Over 100 movie fans felt his love for Chongqing.
As the grand finale of 2018 Chongqing International Image Festival, “Zhang Yibai Chongqing Trilogy Image Exhibition” was held in Wenchuang Park of the Elingerchang on January 18, 2019. Near 400 image works about “Chongqing Trilogy” were displayed at the exhibition. Zhang Yibai said, “Curiosity Kills the Cat compares the old city with the new one. Lost. Indulgence records the industrial heritage of Chongqing. I Belong to You blends fashion with civil life.” Zhang Yibai also said the three films showed the dynamic beauty of Chongqing and he expressed his deep love for hometown in every scene.
