CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the Spring Festival is approaching, viewing decorative lightings has become a great view for citizens. Let's have a look at the highlights of Chongqing decorative lighting construction for Spring Festival.

First, Chongqing has referred to the design standards of urban night lighting, road lighting standards and engineering construction management standards at home and abroad like Lyon, France.

Second, it has optimized the implementation mechanism, unified the municipal design plan and deepened the construction in different areas. In addition, the Chongqing Urban Management Bureau and Culture & Tourism Department co-work effectively to highlight the card of Chongqing night landscape lighting.

Ten cultural symbols, including old and current Bayu twelve scenes, the 17 city gates (among which, 9 gates are open but 7 gates are closed), Chongqing Three Gorges in the Yangtze River, Dazu Stone Carvings, Great Hall of the People, Tongliang Dragon Dance, are combined in the lighting design to narrate the story of history and future.

Fifth, with various ways of expression, it has combined traditional, cultural and creative, as well as light and shadow techniques. The 2019 lighting quality improvement project has combined the techniques of cultural and creative lighting and intelligent light and shadow.

Sixth, it has defined the value orientation and greatly set up an open public art space. Through lighting stage and cultural exhibition, Chongqing has reflected the value orientation carried by festival culture about national prosperity, city harmony and family happiness, also showd the achievements of reform and opening-up and intelligent industry development.

Seventh, it has adhered to the integration of culture and tourism to meet the demand of the public for cultural tourism during the Spring Festival. Relevant departments have developed the column of smart lighting exhibition on mobile app “山城通” (Shanchengtong), through its map guide, pictures and words, videos, riddles, the best lighting exhibition and other forms, to show the local customs, history and culture, scenic introduction, special products of each district or scenic area.

Eighth, it has combined the way of tourism and entertainment, focusing on the interactive participation between citizens and tourists. For example, to set up the intelligent lighting interactive devices at these places like Juxianyan, Likely Wharf, Liziba Light Rail Station, and Yanyu Park.
