CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Have you ever seen strawberries planted overhead? This time just follow us to know it. There is a Strawberry Greenhouse of Xinlu Organic Vegetable and Fruit Base, Tuqiao Town, Tongliang District, planted groups of red strawberries in the sky, so standing on the ground, people can pick the strawberry without bending down.

"This greenhouse covers an area of more than 8000 square meters, and now it is the largest one in Tongliang.” Qin Xiangquan, a technician of the base, said that it’s equipped with facilities such as hot air blower, air conditioner, integration device of water and fertilizer and shelf lifter, and it has the high intelligentization in adjusting the temperature, light, moisture and fertilizer of crops only via the button of the central control cabinet to make it grow well.

"We know that the common way of cultivating strawberry is via ridging or building frame on the ground, but few is in the sky, so what's the significance via planting it overhead?" the reporter asked.

"This way we call air strawberry makes full use of land space and increases planting area of strawberry, which is its greatest significance.” said by Qin Xiangquan. What’s more, it can be moved up and down via the electric button on the wall although it’s placed in the air.

"After strawberry is ripe, we can adjust it in optimum picking position to the people according to their height.
