CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last weekend, the first round of the 2019 Chinese Football Association Super League (2019 CSL for short) was held between Chongqing SWM who played at home and Guangzhou R&F. In the first half, the "small motorcycle" Fernando got the penalty kick and Alan Kardec scored a goal; and in the second half, Guangzhou R&F scored two goals in succession to turn the tide. In the added time, Kardec took a score at the last time and finally Chongqing SWM gained the first point of the new season at 2:2.

At the period of transfer window, Chongqing SWM has introduced Adrian Mierzejewski from the overseas and good players from China like Jiang Zhe with two goalkeepers, while Guangzhou R&F has spent a lot of money to introduce two players Ousmane Dembélé and Dia Saba with several excellent local players.

In the game, Chongqing SWM only let Jiang Zhe and Yang Shuai take the field as well as the familiar foreign players Fernando, Kardec and Fernandinho. The two new goalkeepers also didn’t go to play and the place was taken by Sui Weijie.

In the first half, because the player from Guangzhou R&F had a handball in the penalty area, Chongqing SWM obtained a penalty kick which is the first one since the opening. In the 25th minute, Kardec took the penalty kick and shot the ball into the goal successfully. Chongqing SWM won 1-0 in the first half.

In the second half, they changed the venue and then matched agian. In the 56th minute, Guangzhou R&F equalized the score. In the 74th minute, Zahavi from Guangzhou R&F passed the ball to his teammate Tang Miao, and then Zahavi caught the ball from Tang Miao to gain a score via his head, so the Guangzhou R&F overtook the score at 2:1.

Chongqing SWM has been looking for opportunities to gain a score in the next time. They still did not give up in the added time. Finally, in the 92nd minute, Fernando passed the ball from the left to Kardec who got a score via his head after the ball hit the defender and changed the direction to the goal with the score of 2:2. At the sound of whistle, the Chongqing SWM and Guangzhou R&F were in a draw.
