CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- When it comes the beautiful graffiti, the old campus of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (shorted for SFAI) at Huangjueping may be reminded firstly. However, there is other graffiti place at Liangjiang New Area where some roadside walls are decorated with graffiti painting, colorful and cool.

The roadside walls with a length of nearly 100 meters, at Jiagongqujiu Road behind IKEA, are covered with colorful graffiti: pigs, octopuses and goldfish similar to ink and wash paintings.

Walking along the road to the end, the reporter found that there are graffiti works, like Chongqing dialect “Qian Fan (千翻)”, 3D pig, masked clown, people who rides a bike, Super Mario, and David statue, on the wall of Huiliu Road and Huifeng Road near the road, which make the monotonous roads more interesting. Here many people have poses to take pictures. 

These graffiti walls belong to the upgrading projects around Chongqing Free Trade Port Area environmental landscape, carried out by Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Municipal Landscape Construction Co., Ltd. 

"The areas around IKEA and OTLES is the key joints of the project, so we have designed graffiti walls with a length of about 1 kilometer and area of 2,500 square meters in total." said by the relevant person in charge of the company. Many logistics enterprises have relocated, the area, formerly as a logistics park, will be mainly used for commerce, so in order to keep the environment beautiful, the graffiti is designed to upgrade the landscape without destroying the sidewalks and sidewalls.

Here you can see various graffiti works among the area of 2,500 square meters with abstract or realistic, dynamic or static styles.

Speaking of graffiti, the person in charge introduced it with great interest. Created by professional teams represented by Yang Shu, Wang Haichuan, Wang Jun, Tong Wenmin, Ren Qian and Yu Guo from SFAI, these graffiti are designed according to their own preferences without fixed requirements.
