CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the Administration Bureau of Liangjiang New Area, as one of the 2019 Liangjiang New Area Greening Projects, Douxi Ecological Park was put into service officially. This park is located at Jinxing Avenue, with a planned area of 300,000 square meters and a total investment of about 18 million yuan. 

This park with an altitude difference of 120m is one of parks with largest altitude difference in Chongqing. It is next to Douxi Interchange, Jinxing Avenue, with Baiheju Park in the north, Poly Golf in the west and Yicui Zhuangyuan in the south. Its planned area and rebuilt area are 300,000 square meters and 100,000 square meters respectively. There are shrubs, covers, roadways, pedestrian ways, squares, wash rooms and other facilities.

With lush vegetation, this park aims to restore ecological environment. The major design style is natural ecology, and the architecture style is based on ecology and simplicity. It is divided into four areas, including the secondary entrance area, mountain-viewing area, ecological protection area and iris area according to its functional features. A mountain stream passes the iris area, on which colorful iris flowers were planted. The flowering phase is from April to May. At that time, this area will be full of blooming flowers.
