CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On May 7, 2019, the stone beams of "Longmen Hao Yue" appeared on the riverbed, attracting many citizens and photography enthusiasts.

In recent days, due to the lower water level of the Yangtze River during the drought season, the stone beams of "Longmen Hao Yue" under the Dongshuimen Bridge of Nanbin Road are almost all exposed to the river, which is very rare to be seen since it is usually only partially exposed to the river. The waterway in the stone beam used to be a passage for small boats or mooring. This small harbor is called "Hao" by Chongqing people, hence it is named "Longmen Hao". The water flow inside is relatively gentle, attracting people’s attention while the moon is reflected in the water. Scholars and calligraphers of all ages who loved poetry and literature were fan to “Longmen Hao”, and called it “Longmen Hao Yue”. It was one of the twelve scenes of Bayu.
