Landscape of Line 2

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It will be more enjoyable to view the landscape of Liziba Station soon! The section of Line 2 from Jiaochangkou to Xinshancun will be overhauled and renovated with operational equipment, and some vehicles will also be improved.

After that, there will be another 8 new marshalling trains for Line 2, and such trains are nearly twice as long as the four in operation currently.

CRT Line 2 is the first straddle-type monorail line of China. It starts from Jiaochangkou in the east, reaches Xinshancun in Dadukou District in the west, and extends to Yudong in Banan District. Passing through Yuzhong District, Jiulongpo District and so on, it is about 31.36km in total with 25 stations.

As mentioned above, there will be another 8 new marshalling trains for Line 2. At present, trains in operation of Line 2 consist of 4 marshalling trains and 6 marshalling trains. After 8 marshalling trains are put into operation, you can appreciate a more beautiful landscape at Liziba Station.

The appearance of Liziba Station will become better.

The total area of external wall cleaned this time is 76,892.8 square meters, of which the external wall area of the station (15 viaduct external walls of the new section) is 72,829 square meters.

The scope to be washed four times a year includes the external walls of 15 viaduct stations from Huanghuayuan Station to Xinshancun Station, the inner and outer sides of the canopy, the steel structure of the canopy and so on.
