To enjoy the Graduation Artworks Exhibition in Southwest University

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the 2019 Graduation Artworks Exhibition for School of Fine Arts in Southwest University was held at Southwest University Museum. About 285 works of painting, sculpture and design were exhibited, which covers over 10 forms of arts, like oil painting, Chinese painting, calligraphy, design and comprehensive material.

It’s said that the first prize of the exhibition is Liu Peng’s work, “A Market at Wumeng”, which was completed by designing color on paper. Wumeng is the hometown and a quiet place for heart of Liu Peng. His feelings are fully displayed in this work.

It was made of newspapers and thread. He kneaded and stitched newspapers into frocks and gas masks.

Tao Zerong’s “Zhu Geliang” (Picture provided by Southwest University)

It was completed by coloring the resin. The image of Zhu Geliang, who wears a black hat and holds a fan made of white feathers in one hand, is gazing the front and calmly commands the army, showing his calm and elegant manner.
