CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The “Blooming June · SFAI Creative Valley Art Tour” has been officially opened at Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street, showing many classic works created by masters in the art circle such as Luo Zhongli, Pang Maokun, Zhang Jie, and Chen Anjian. Works like “Teahouse”, “Italian Girl Elena”, “Crossing the River” and "Dim Chongqing" make visitors enjoy a visual feast on site. Now, let’s have a look at it together.

“Teahouse” painted by Chen Anjian

Chen Anjian, a teacher of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SFAI for short), shows the vicissitudes of life via delicate brushwork and lifelike expression description in a work “Teahouse”. You can feel artistic charm and enjoy a visual feast while visiting the work.

Chen Anjian can be considered as an integral element that why the Jiaotong Teahouse at Huangjueping can become a popular attraction. Mr. Chen bought this teahouse to retain creative inspiration at first, and everything he has seen here is related to life, so gradually the guests have become the soul in his works.

Various works from arts masters

The paintings drawn by Luo Zhongli, Pang Maokun and others also have attracted many attention from people.

A work called "Crossing the River" depicts the scene of two people crossing the river with trouser legs rolled up. They are crossing the river with a lantern in one hand and a stick in the other respectively. The mutual support is the source of confidence of successfully crossing the river and the power to move forward.

The work “Italian Girl Elena”, painted by Pang Maokun, shows that a foreign girl with a high nose and big eyes is sitting on the sofa while as if she is staring at something or looking forward to something.

The work “Dim Chongqing”, painted by Zhang Jie, deputy president of SFAI, portrays a miniature scene of Chongqing during the war period. Houses in the distance are burning after attacked by bombs and gunfire, but people in the vicinity are struggling for bright tomorrow.

Sketching works exhibition

There are 100 precious sketching works at the exhibition held at a place called originally Chongqing Publishing House in Yuanjiagang, and some are painted by masters from Central Academy of Fine Arts like Yu Hong and Zhang Lujiang, and most are taken people as its subject, including student carrying schoolbag, mother with full expectation and girl dressed up well.
