CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Grapes are gradually ripe now, emitting wonderful fragrance. The Annual Grape Festival in Xipeng, Jiulongpo District was held last weekend. The grape garden covers an area of 5,000 mu, with dozens of varieties of grape planted, in which you can pick ripe grapes.

High time to pick grapes

Miss Chen tried the first batch of ripe grapes in the opening ceremony and said that “these grapes are sweet without grape pips”. As the largest grape planting base in main urban districts of Chongqing, from the end of June to the end of August every year, 5,000 mu of grapes mature, making Xipeng “a sea of grapes”.

The wonderful kungfu tea performance and the authentic cross talk of Xipeng attracted many people to the garden to participate in the opening ceremony.
