The largest cruise ship in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is coming

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- How does it feel to walk on the glass floor on a ship? Recently, the "Huaxia Goddess III" cruise ship started its construction. It is understood that the ship, with a total length of 149.99m and 23.2m in width, is currently the largest cruise ship on the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. A glass bridge will also be built on the ship to increase the interaction with visitors.

According to Tan Qingping, the chief engineer of the ship, the "Huaxia Goddess III" ship has a total length of 149.99m, a width of 23.2m and a depth of 4.6m. It has 7 decks with a maximum draft depth of 3.1m and a design speed of 25 kilometers per hour. It can carry 650 passengers and is currently the largest one on the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.

In the hardware facility, the cruise will have full Wi-Fi coverage, and implement smart management services such as face-scanning check-in and robot meal delivery. In addition, the cruise is also designed focus on passenger’s experience. On the top of the ship, a 1,300-square-meter viewing platform will be built, and a glass bridge as long as 50m will be built to increase the interaction with visitors.
