CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- There will be more means of mobile payment for taking CRT in Chongqing. Recently, Chongqing Public Resources Trading Center released the Bidding Announcement for the Application and Transformation Project of Chongqing Rail Transits, a big step to realize the entering rail transit mobile gate via mobile payment. It’s said that all operating lines are included in the range of bidding. After the transformation, passengers can enter the gate via scanning IC card, UnionPay and other means.

All operating lines within the range of bidding

According to the information of this project, the rail transit mobile payment mainly consists of Internet ticketing system platform (including purchasing tickets via mobile payment, entering the gate via scanning QR codes) and Internet automatic fare collection (AFC) equipment (including Internet ticket selling machine, Internet ticket checking machine and Internet booking office machine). The Internet payment platform is mainly responsible for Internet ticketing, and the Internet AFC equipment is mainly responsible for the identification and processing of Internet tickets. This project will be implemented on the Loop Line, Line 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10 of Chongqing Rail Transit, with a period of 240 days.

Entering the gate via scanning QR codes

According to user requirements of the project, passengers can enter and exit the station not only by scanning bus card and QR code on the gate machine, but also by scanning IC card, UnionPay, Quick Pass payment (like Apple Pay, HCE, Xiaomi Pay, Huawei Pay and Samsung Pay) and NFC-enabled phones.

The user requirements mentioned that entering and exiting the station through biology identification will be developed for the project, which means that in the future, Chongqing rail transit may realize face recognition, vein recognition, fingerprint recognition and other functions, making it possible to take rails by “scanning the face”.

In addition, the Internet electronic ticketing system platform constructed in this project has many functions and can complete the application of intelligent payment technologies like UnionPay card, mobile phone QR code and NFC on recharge, ticketing selling and ticket checking. This project provides various mobile payment for passengers, like Alipay and WeChat Pay for its Internet cooperation mode.

A new mobile customer-end app will be developed in this project, where you can log, register with your real name and manage your information. It also has functions like one-way ticket purchase, refund for ticket, electronic ticket checking and others.

At present, mobile payment is equipped on the Loop Line, Line 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10, so that you can purchase tickets by scanning your payment code at ticket vending machines and manual box offices.
