CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- What does “summer holidays” mean to you? The burning sun, cooling mung bean soup and non-stop cicada voice. For many children, interest-oriented classes are the most common. You may have notice this: children are having class in classrooms while the parents or grandparents waiting outside.

This is a taekwondo classroom at Nan’an District. Children are practicing with teacher’s guidance. Outside the classroom, their parents are looking at them. They normally wait there for one and a half hours.

They are Mrs. Fan and her frolic twin daughters. The girls have classes all day. They don’t have enough time to go home. Mrs. Fan has to take a rest on the bench and fall asleep.

The children are playing ping-pong while their grandmothers waiting outside. The children’s parents are busy with work, their grandmothers take the initiative to pick up children, which shows their love for children and grandchildren.

At the corner of the swimming pool at Nan’an Jiangnan Sports Center, a mother holds a baby. Her first child is having swimming class here and she has to take the younger baby for nursing. The baby looks at her and drags her clothes, maybe, the baby is hungry.
