CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The weather forecast on your mobile phone always shows that it’ll be rainy in Chongqing. The continuous rains make Chongqing covered by clouds and mist, attracting many shutterbugs to shoot about its great scenes. Especially after heavy rains, you may be pleased with the intoxicating scenes.

Huang Zuwei shared several photos of Yuzhong Peninsula in his WeChat Moments. He said that these photos were shot near Yanyu Park on Nanbin Road. They heard there would be a strong convection weather, so they planned to take photos of the lightning. Unexpectedly, they caught the wonderful scenes of Yuzhong Peninsula. Though they were exposed to the rain, they still were happy to have these wonderful photos. He also said that they had shot many photos of the blue sky and white clouds before, so they also want to shot photos about Chongqing in extreme weather.

“In fact, the key factor to shot the mist-shrouded city is the weather rather than shooting techniques.” Huang Zuwei said that the most important and basic thing to take a great photo is to master the aperture shutter sensitivity.

Another set of photos shot by Luo Xing mainly demonstrates the features of the skyscrapers in Yuzhong Peninsula, like the Marriott Hotel, the building of Agricultural Development Bank of China and the Yingli International Financial Center. He said that he shot these photos on Nanbin Road after the heavy rain in the evening of July 15th with his Olympus OM-D. He also reminded that people should hold their phones fast when they shoot photos of cloudy weather. (Translated by Mao Qiao, Fathom Language Limited)
