CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 23rd, Xituo Ancient Town, as one of the “First 10 Famous Historical and Cultural Ancient Towns in China” was officially opened to the public after more than 2-year renovation.

Located at Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County and with near 2,000-year history, Xituo Ancient Town used to be the transit hub for salt transportation and the business distribution center well-known in Three Gorges Area of the Yangtze River.
