CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China released a list of swimming places with unqualified water in some cities (the first batch), which shows that the water quality of swimming pool is unqualified of companies like Chongqing Strengthen and Beauty Fitness Management Co., Ltd., and Sunshine Continental Grand Hotel Co., Ltd.

The National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China points out that swimming places in summer are densely populated, and the quality of water quality in swimming places is directly related to the people's health rights and interests. Regulations on the Administration of Santitaion in Public Places and its implementation rules stipulate that the water quality of swimming places shall meet the national health standards.

In 2019, the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China deploy local health administrative departments to carry out health supervision and inspection of swimming venues according to the supervision and random inspection plan. The total number of bacteria, coliform bacteria, pH, urea, turbidity and free residual chlorine in swimming pool water were sampled and checked. Those who found that the water quality was unqualified were ordered to rectify within a time limit, and were seriously investigated and dealt with according to law.

On July 24, the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China announced the first batch of swimming pool water sanitation spots, involving Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Xiamen, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu and other cities.
