At the end of this year, 90% of the runway and platform road surface will be completed. In 2020, the airport trail flight and adjustment will be finished, and will have navigation condition. After the completion, it will become the closest civil airport to the 5A-level scenic spot in China, and it will be a “garden airport”.

It is said that after the completion of Wulong Airport, it will be only 15 minutes drive from Fairy Mountain International Forest Park. It will be the closest civil airport to the 5A-level scenic spot in China.

“The airport is in the scenic spot. Environmental protection measures must be taken into consideration during construction. It is impossible to destroy the environment while developing.” Hu Yijun, executive deputy commander of Wulong Airport Construction Command, said that Wulong Airport pays attention to environmental protection from design to construction.
