CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co., Ltd., the major construction of Line 18 (Fuhua Road Station - Tiaodengnan Station) got started and will be completed in 2022.

There will be 19 stations along Line 18, including Fuhua Road, Xietaizi, Olympic Sports Center, Shipingqiao, Yangjiaping, Tanzikou, Huangjueping, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Power Plant, 2nd Yangtze River Bridge, Waihepingbei, Waihepingnan, Jianjiacao, Qiezixi, Baijusi, Funiuxi, Jin’aoshan, Tiaodeng and Tiaodengnan. All names are provisional. Passenger can transfer to existing Line 1 and 2, or Line 5, Line 9, Loop Line and Tiaodeng-Jiangjin of Line 5 which are under construction, or Line 12, 24 and 25 under plan on Line 18.

When it is put into service, the connection among Yuzhong, Jiulongpo, Banan and Dadukou will be effectively promoted, driving the formation of industrial clusters along the route and promoting economic development. (Translated by Mao Qiao, Fathom Language Limited)
