When the reporter recently met Tang Yusuo in an art room in Yuzhong District, she was exchanging ideas of a painting with her painting teacher Li Yuxu. Tang Yusuo attended a nearby primary school and would start her sixth grade next semester. More than three years ago, she began to learn painting with Li Yuxu. After several years of practicing, she is good at sketching, watercolor painting and so on.

Tang Yusuo said that the work "Qiansimen Bridge" was created in June this year at the finals of the Chongqing Competition Divisions, and it took her three hours to complete the painting.

Referring to the idea of painting, Tang Yusuo said that the theme of the contest was "beautiful homeland". She decided to show the beauty of Chongqing's "mountains, waters, cities and bridges" in her paintings. "I love the Qiansimen Bridge, and I feel that the main tower in the shape of Tiansuo in the middle of it was particularly beautiful."

She said that after drawing the Qiansimen Bridge, she drew a female role of Sichuan Opera dressed in yellow under the bridge, who made the picture look fuller and added cultural charm.

For the future, Tang Yusuo said that she would always insist on learning painting, hoping to grow up to be a city landscape designer, turning small brushes into big brushes, and making the city landscape more beautiful. (Translated by Luo Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
